UPDATE!!!! I’ve moved back to Tokyo to be with my awesome boyfriend and (on weekends) his awesome son. Working hard and trying to make my dreams come true still. And I’m now a blonde, better fix that picture at the bottom of the page. Better fix this whole “about” page! I’ll get to it some day.
I used to be known as the Workaholic Hostess, back when I was a (you guessed it) workaholic bar hostess.
That blog went the way of the dodo when Vox shut down, but before it did, I imported and password protected all the old entries. Let me know if you have a burning desire to read them.
I can save you some time though by re-creating the typical posts below:
I’m soooooo hungover. I’m exhausted. I’m number uno, got a big monthly bonus! Shit didn’t meet the paid date quota. I hate this other bitch, she’s fat and ugly and she stole my customer and outsold me, booooo. Shit I slept with a married guy again. Jose Cuervo I hate you, I’ve had my last tequila hangover. Tequila shots last night! Look at my new pole dancing bruise. What am I doing with my life, I’m a loser. I’m so alone but I kind of hate men. Will I EVER get into school and do something with my life?…
…and then I got into school. Had to leave Tokyo and come to Osaka but it meant enough to me that I did just that.
I just graduated though, and I came back to Tokyo to be with my Man.
And I’m a proud Japanese American (a half breed).
I’m also a Jewess (I always thought that was a funny word).
And I’m 32 years old. Face looks young, just don’t look too hard at my neck.
